Flash floods in Pakistan has created havoc everywhere, affecting more than 4.6 million people, rendering 300,000 people homeless, and currently leaving more than 1000 people dead. Alongside with this, 90% crops have been damaged in Sindh as well loss of livestock is huge. Akhuwat is at the forefront of relief work, providing food, shelter and medicines to the affected people in the regions of Sindh, Baluchistan and KPK. Since Welfare Network has no manpower in the affected areas, it will be supporting other reputable organizations through fundraising and in-kind donations (where applicable) to achieve the objective. Akhuwat is our partner associate and will be the first one to receive our donation. Apart from Akhuwat we will be donating to other organizations involved in flood relief work to keep their supply chain running. Whosoever wishes to contribute monetarily or with in-kind donations can donate to us. We will be redirecting the donations accordingly to ensure optimum utilization. Every little amount will go a long way to bring relief to the men, women and children who have been affected by this unprecedented natural disaster.

- 28 Sep 2022: Cheque Rs 500,000 realized to Al-Khidmat Foundation.
- 15 Oct 2022: Al-Khidmat Progress 27th July to 14th Sep 2022.
- 24 Oct 2022: Cheque Rs 500,000 realized to Al-Khidmat Foundation.
- 25 Oct 2022: Funds required for "House Reconstruction Program" by Al-Khidmat. Estimated cost is Rs 100,000 per house.
- 01 Nov 2022: Funds required for "Winter Clothing & Protection" by Al-Khidmat. Estimated cost is Rs 4,500 per winter package.
- 03 Jan 2023: Unable to get more donations. Project closed.
