This is a case of a student who needs to pay the fee of extra courses he took while completing his bachelors degree at IBA Karachi. Currently enrolled in 8th semester (final year) and will be graduating by December 2018. He was selected in IBA through a funded scholarship, and has been studying there since 3 and a half years on scholarship. Two semesters back he suffered from typhoid which took one month to recover. Due to absences he had to drop the courses. In total he was 3 courses behind to regular course count. He has to pay the fee of 3 extra courses he took during. Finance department has already imposed a fine of 16000 because he did not pay the fee. The fee for 3 courses is 93000. Being a NTHP student, he was not able to pay this fee himself. His father is a tailor by profession and is hardly running the family expenses. For the past few months he was also suffering from schizophrenia and was not able to work properly. The student is working at IBA and also part time to run the expenses of his family.
