Dr Khawaja Omair MD, MPH
Director of Hospital Medicine, USA
Dr. Khawaja Omair Husain is a native to Lahore, Pakistan who graduated from King Edward Medical University. He has been residing in the United States for more than two decades and has been linked with the medical profession in various capacities including active practice of medicine, research and education. Dr. Husain has a Master in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. He is formally trained in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He currently works in Hospital Medicine at one of the regional community hospitals with MedStar Health which is one of the biggest health systems in and around the Washington DC area. Dr. Husain is the Chief of hospital medicine at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. In addition to being a frontline clinical provider, he is deeply involved in developing and implementing strategies to enhance quality of care. He is part of the executive team of administrators leading the fight against the COVID pandemic.

Sahar Hussain
Mental Health Counselor
Sahar is a licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in New York City in private practice since 2017. She completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University and has an M.Phil. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from BeaconHouse National University, Lahore. Sahar specializes in and has extensive training and experience in the treatment of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), including Purely Obsessional OCD and its subtypes, Anxiety disorders such as Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, GAD, Phobias as well as performance and test anxiety, stress, life transitions, Depression, and Clinical Perfectionism. Sahar uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), that have proven effective in treating most mental health conditions, with ERP being the gold standard treatment for OCD. Sahar strives to practice from a place of compassion and empathy and curate treatment to fit every individual’s needs to help and encourage clients to lead a values driven life. Sahar is affiliated with the International OCD Foundation.

Mansour Ahsan
Psychotherapist & Counsellor
Mansour is a UK Certified and Diploma Holder in Humanistic & Integrative Psychodynamic Counselling and Therapy. He is also a certified NLP practitioner. Since starting his work in 2019, he has gained invaluable experience in helping out men, women and children of all ages, who are struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, addiction, fears among other issues. Of late, he has also been helping out many who are struggling with life under COVID-19. Mansour has lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, USA and UAE (Dubai). He is extremely fond of traveling, reading, writing and volunteering for social work. He loves volunteering his time at an animal shelter on weekends, is proficient in sign language and runs a side bakery business for charitable purposes. His vision in life is to give back to society to ensure everyone creates the best version of themselves as much as they can.

If you are a medical specialist interested committed to offer medical help to the poor and illiterate patients who cannot afford private consultation and suffer due to misguidance by commercialized medical doctors and unethical practices then please feel free to Let Us Know.


How Does This Work?

1) The doctor gets an email or whatsapp message (as preferred) regarding appointment with the patient from Welfare Network (WN).

2) The doctor decides the date and time and replies to the request.

3) WN will call the doctor on his given cell phone or whatsapp number from its office call center on the given date and time.

4) WN will connect the patient to the doctor for consultation.

5) WN staff will monitor the consultation and will note down the instructions given by the doctor.

Note: The patient will not have any access to doctor's personal cell phone or whatsapp number.
